Free ESL Tutoring in Halifax

Are you new to Canada? Would you like help in improving your English? Are you interested in learning more about the Bible or about Christianity? We have Good News for you!

GoodNewsHalifax offers free tutoring classes in ESL (English as Second Language). Using the Bible as our reading text, the classes also provide an overview of the message of the Bible and Christianity. We have certified TESL teachers and we currently offer small group classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The classes will provide you with opportunity to practice your reading and pronunciation, learn new vocabulary, and be involved in conversation.

The Christian Bible is an important piece of literature for our culture. Understanding it better may also help you in adapting to Canadian culture. But of course, there are many other aspects of our culture that require patience and help from others to understand. Along with teaching you English, we also take the time to show you true Christian friendship. We are happy to be a help to you in other areas of life as you try and get used to living in a new country.
